I love going to accuweather. They seem to have the most accurate current weather no matter what location I have been in.

Researching Current Events:
I think the best way to see what is going on, is finding actual videos. Youtube has everything. People upload amateur footage immediately when major disasters happen and is a good place to find things that haven't yet been published in the media.

Well, the number one site I used a lot this semester is Google News. It pulls together sources from all over and provides an easy to use search interface to sort your research. It is awesome!

I like Yahoo's service for more than just fantasy football! This website has good information on current weather and there are many different sections to explore such as weather news.

When you need to find some details the National Weather Service is a pretty nice site. They have tons of things to do and some good graphing of current warnings.
